On Misha joining Supernatural
Misha: At first I was nervous because I know some of the characters that have been introduced to the show haven’t gone over that well, especially some of the women
Jensen: All of the women
Misha: Yeah… all of the women
Jared: They’re not welcomed by the fans
Misha: This is an incredibly sexist group of people—the fandom
Jared: Against their own sex
Misha: Fortunately, I am, to date, not a woman. So I have that going for me.
Jared: It sort of happened on the go, actually. We didn’t know. They weren’t like, “Here’s Misha he’ll be around for a while”. They were sort of like, “Here’s Misha, we don’t know if we like him, so you don’t necessarily have to be nice to him.” So we so I just pretty much ignored him.
Jensen: Basically paid him no attention. We were like, “You know what, he’ll probably be gone in the week, so there’s no real reason to strike up a conversation.”
Misha: You didn’t even know my name for the first six months!
